Health e-learning was set up to assist nurses and other health professionals to access short workshops to contribute to their continuing professional development which can be used to count towards evidence of ongoing professional development required for some annual practising certificates.

Workshops aim to be highly relevant to current clinical practice and topical issues having a focus on primary health care and residential care services in New Zealand.

Each workshop has a presentation to view and the optional opportunity to ask questions through a discussion forum. There is also a self-directed activity associated with each workshop to consolidate learning. Most workshops have a value of 1.5 or 2 hours associated learning time. A certificate is electronically issued upon successful completion.

You can register for as many or few workshops as you want to following the simple on-line instructions.

Workshops cost $20-$40 NZD and payment can be made through an on-line credit card transaction.

If you do not have a credit card and are a resident in New Zealand, you can arrange to make a direct payment by emailing info@healthe-learning.co.nz and banking details will be provided to you. Once payment has been accepted, you can undertake the course immediately.
